The Opportunity
Digirockstars is a performance marketing agency for iGaming, fintech, and high-growth tech brands across Southeast Asia. WOMO is our platform, and the engine behind much of what we deliver for clients. You can see WOMO at womonow.com.
WOMO is a growth ecosystem for brands, creators, affiliates, and clippers. Most affiliate software hands a brand a dashboard and leaves the rest to them. WOMO brings the partners, the reach, and the data with it: affiliate tracking built to the standard of the leading platforms, a network of 4,000+ vetted affiliates, agents, and influencers, and a set of connected products that turn creators into a growth channel brands can measure.
Marketing in Southeast Asia is shifting from media buying to creator-led distribution, and the infrastructure for that shift mostly does not exist yet. We are building it. Our goal is to make WOMO the default growth infrastructure for creator-led marketing in Southeast Asia, then take it to the rest of the world.
This role puts you at the center of that build. You will own real systems from the first commit, ship fast, and see your work show up in revenue for brands operating in some of the most demanding regulated markets in the region. The role comes with a competitive salary, and equity is available as a perk for the right person.
What You’ll Build
WOMO is live, with brands, creators, and partners on the platform today. Behind it sits a set of connected applications, the services that power them, and the data that ties them together.
What comes next is bigger. We are building new applications and capabilities on top of WOMO, and you will help decide what gets built and how. We share the roadmap with candidates as the process moves forward.
What You’ll Do
- Own features end to end, from a loose idea to a scoped plan to production.
- Plan new features and applications. Break the work into tasks and estimate it honestly.
- Design new services and apps, including data models, API shape, and UI. Write short design docs or ADRs for decisions that matter.
- Build full stack: tRPC routers, Drizzle schemas and migrations, Next.js pages, and shared UI components.
- Build and harden the tracking core: attribution, postbacks, commission logic, and payouts that brands and partners can trust.
- Build livestream automation: tooling that starts, monitors, and recovers 24/7 streams without manual work.
- Build data pipelines that collect, transform, and store data from external platforms and internal systems, and stay reliable when sources fail or change.
- Work with third-party platform data at scale, including rate limits, partial failures, and scheduled syncs.
- Keep the platform fast and healthy: fix bugs, cut slow queries, pay down tech debt, and keep deployments and migrations clean.
- Review pull requests and hold the codebase to a consistent standard.
- Investigate production issues and follow them through to a fix.
- Update client-facing docs when behavior changes.
- Use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow, and stay accountable for everything you ship. You review, understand, and can explain every change, whoever or whatever wrote it.
Who You’ll Work With
You report to our CTO, who built WOMO’s affiliate infrastructure and AI capabilities. You will work directly with the founders and the key stakeholders who own client outcomes, so the distance between a product decision and your code is one conversation.
What You’ll Work With
- Languages and runtime: TypeScript, Bun
- Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, Tailwind, Radix and Base UI, shadcn
- Backend: tRPC, Hono, Zod
- Data: PostgreSQL on Neon, Drizzle ORM, Upstash Redis
- Auth: Better Auth with role-based access
- Tooling: Turborepo monorepo, Biome, GitHub Actions
- Automation and pipelines: Scheduled jobs, queues and workers, streaming tools such as FFmpeg and RTMP, and platform APIs
- Hosting: Vercel, Neon, Upstash
You don’t need all of these. You should be strong in TypeScript and comfortable picking up the rest.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of professional experience shipping production web applications.
- Strong TypeScript, with explicit types and no reliance on any.
- Solid React and Next.js experience, including server components and data fetching without leaning on useEffect.
- Solid SQL and relational modeling. You’ve written migrations and know why they need care.
- Experience designing and building an API or service from scratch.
- Experience with authentication and authorization, including role-based access.
- Experience building data pipelines or background job systems, with attention to retries, idempotency, monitoring, and data quality.
- Comfort working in a monorepo with shared packages.
- Good written communication. You explain tradeoffs clearly and ask when something is unclear.
- You take a feature from vague to shipped without close supervision, and you want that level of ownership.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot. You know when to delegate to them and when to write it yourself.
- The judgment to catch what AI gets wrong: subtle bugs, invented APIs, unnecessary code, and changes that don’t fit the codebase.
Nice to Have
- Drizzle, tRPC, or Better Auth experience.
- Serverless Postgres, with knowledge of HTTP versus WebSocket driver tradeoffs.
- Experience with affiliate tracking, ad-tech, payments, or ledger systems.
- Experience with fraud detection, gamification, or loyalty systems.
- Experience with livestreaming or video tooling, such as FFmpeg, RTMP, or HLS.
- Experience integrating social platform APIs or scraping.
- CI/CD and infrastructure as code, such as OpenTofu or Terraform.
How We Work
- Feature branches and pull requests only. Nothing goes straight to master, staging, or dev.
- Conventional commits, with database changes in their own atomic commit.
- Comments explain why, not what.
- Small, reviewable changes over large rewrites.
How We Use AI
We build with AI every day. The team uses Claude Code with shared project instructions (CLAUDE.md) that encode our conventions, and you’ll help keep those current. Expect to:
- Use AI for implementation, debugging, refactors, and research.
- Review AI output as carefully as a colleague’s pull request.
- Improve the project instructions and tooling when an agent gets something wrong repeatedly.
- Say so when AI produced a design or piece of code you don’t fully understand, and work through it before merging.
What You Get
- Competitive salary.
- Equity as a perk for the right person. You help build the platform, and you share in what it becomes.
- Ownership of real product surface area on a live and growing platform, not a ticket queue.
- Direct access to the CTO, the founders, and the people making product decisions.
- Work that reaches production fast and shows up in real client results.
- Nationwide holidays, plus paid vacation and sick leave after six months.
- Reimbursement for software, books, and courses.
- Company-covered travel for the annual retreat and team meetups.
How to Apply
Use the form below. Send your CV and a link to something you built or maintained. In a few sentences, tell us about a technical decision you made and what you would change now. Also tell us how you use AI tools in your work, including one case where they got it wrong.
If you want to build the infrastructure behind creator-led marketing in Southeast Asia, we want to hear from you.
