Canada-to-PH crypto remittances up 28% to $61M

Chainalysis data published in October 2026 shows crypto remittances from Canada to the Philippines grew 28% to $61 million. Over the same period, Canada-to-Asia crypto remittance flows surged 141% to $2.36 billion across three Asian countries tracked in the report. The Philippines is one of those three, but its $61 million share represents a modest slice of the total corridor volume.

The gap between the 141% regional surge and the 28% Philippine-specific growth is the key signal here. Canada-to-Asia crypto remittance flows are expanding fast, but the Philippines is not capturing a proportionate share of that growth. Larger Asian corridors, likely covering markets with higher crypto infrastructure maturity or larger diaspora volumes, appear to be absorbing the bulk of new flows.
