Responsible Gaming

Last updated: September 17, 2026. We market for licensed operators. That places limits on what we will produce and what we will accept from a client, and both are set out here.

If gambling is causing harm, help is available now.

National Problem Gambling Helpline: (02) 8248-9568. Operated by PAGCOR, 24 hours a day, free and confidential, for players and for families. For mental health crisis support, call 1553, free from any Philippine network.

01
Where we sit

Digirockstars is a marketing agency. We do not operate gaming platforms, hold player funds, or accept bets. Our clients are licensed operators, and responsibility for player protection on their platforms sits with them as the license holders.

What we control is the marketing. Every campaign, creative asset, influencer brief, and affiliate placement we produce is built to the standards below. Where a client asks for something that falls outside them, we say no.

02
What we will not produce
  • Creative that targets, appeals to, or could reasonably reach anyone below the legal age
  • Guarantees of winnings, claims that gambling is a way to make money, or messaging that presents it as a solution to financial difficulty
  • Messaging that encourages chasing losses, borrowing to play, or playing beyond means
  • Content that presents gambling as a route to social success, status, or personal problem-solving
  • Placement on channels or with partners whose audience is predominantly underage
  • Targeting of individuals on a self-exclusion register, where that status is known to us
03
What we require of clients

We work with operators holding valid regulatory standing. Before an engagement begins we confirm license status, and we expect it to be maintained throughout.

We expect clients to operate age and identity verification before play, to offer self-exclusion and deposit limits, and to carry responsible gaming messaging and support links on their platforms.

Where an operator’s practices fall short of this, we will raise it.

04
What we require of partners

Affiliates, influencers, and agents in the WOMO network are briefed against the same standards. Content is reviewed before it runs, and partners who publish material that breaches those standards are removed from the network.

The regulatory consequence of a non-compliant post lands on the license holder rather than the creator. That is why review sits inside the workflow rather than beside it.

05
Age restrictions

Gaming content we produce is directed only at adults who meet the legal age in their jurisdiction. In the Philippines, entry to PAGCOR-regulated gaming is restricted to persons 21 years of age and over.

Philippine law also bars certain groups from gaming venues and platforms, including government employees connected with the operation of government agencies, and members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine National Police.

06
Signs worth taking seriously

Gambling harm is not always obvious from the outside. Common signs include:

  • Betting more than you can afford to lose, or borrowing money to continue
  • Chasing losses, or increasing stakes to recover them
  • Hiding the extent of your gambling from family or friends
  • Gambling interfering with work, study, sleep, or relationships
  • Feeling unable to stop despite wanting to

If any of this is familiar, the support below is free and confidential.

07
Getting help

National Problem Gambling Helpline: (02) 8248-9568

Operated by PAGCOR, available 24 hours a day, free and confidential. It offers counselling, intervention, and support for people affected by gambling and for their families.

National Center for Mental Health Crisis Hotline: 1553

Free from any Philippine network, available 24 hours a day, for mental health crisis support.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

08
Self-exclusion

PAGCOR operates a national exclusion programme. Anyone who feels they are developing a problem with gambling can apply to be barred from PAGCOR-operated and regulated venues and platforms.

Exclusion periods of six months, one year, and five years are available. A family member may also apply on behalf of a spouse, child, or parent.

Excluded persons are recorded in the National Database of Restricted Persons, and the order is enforced across all PAGCOR-operated and regulated gaming facilities. Applications and details are available through PAGCOR.

Most licensed platforms also offer their own self-exclusion, deposit limits, and session limits. Under current PAGCOR requirements, self-exclusion is mandatory across licensed online platforms.

09
HelpGamblers.ph

We fund HelpGamblers.ph, an independent player advocacy portal covering operator accountability scores, player complaints, and PAGCOR license verification.

We work for operators and we also fund the site that holds them accountable. Its editorial operation is independent of our commercial relationships, and that includes coverage of operators who are our clients.

A market where players have no recourse is one that gets regulated harder and trusted less. That is bad for players first and operators second.

10
Raising a concern

If you believe marketing we have produced breaches these standards, tell us. Include where you saw it and, if possible, a screenshot or link.

Email: hey@digirockstars.co

We review every report and respond. Where a breach is confirmed we withdraw the material and address the source, whether that is our own team, a client, or a partner in our network.
