iGaming events

The iGaming conference circuit, by what each one is good for.

There are more events than any team can attend and most guides just list them. This one says what each is actually useful for, so you can pick by objective rather than by size. No dates or venues here, because both change every year.

Start here

Which event, for which job.

Before the list. If you are choosing one or two events a year, choose by what you need rather than by what is largest.

You need affiliates and creators

Go to iGB Affiliate or Affiliate World before any of the general expos. The general shows have affiliates in attendance. The affiliate shows have nothing else, which is the point.

You need a platform or game supplier

ICE or G2E. Every supplier exhibits, and comparing them in one afternoon is worth more than six sales calls.

You are entering the Philippines or Southeast Asia

SiGMA Asia first, ASEAN Gaming Summit if regulatory direction is the open question. Neither of the European flagships will teach you much about this market.

You need to understand where regulation is heading

The summit formats rather than the expo floors. ASEAN Gaming Summit, SBC’s conference agenda, and IAG’s analyst sessions carry more signal than any exhibition hall.

You are hiring

The affiliate events and the regional shows. Senior people are easier to approach at a two-thousand person event than a sixty-thousand person one.

You have one budget and one trip

Pick by market, not by prestige. The largest event in the world is worth less than the right event in the market you are actually selling into.

The anchors

The four everyone knows.

If someone in the industry mentions a conference without naming it, it is probably one of these.

ICE

Best for: Seeing the whole industry in one room. The largest event on the calendar by exhibitor count. Platform providers, game studios, payments, and affiliates all exhibit. Useful for supplier discovery and for understanding where the industry thinks it is going. Less useful for closing anything, because everyone is triple-booked. Learn more

SBC Summit

Best for: Sports betting, payments, and senior operator conversations. The flagship European summit, with a conference agenda deep enough to be worth attending for the sessions rather than only the floor. Strongest if sportsbook or payments is your focus. Learn more

G2E

Best for: North American casino and land-based crossover. The Global Gaming Expo is the anchor event for the US market and the place where land-based and online converge. Relevant to integrated resorts and suppliers more than to digital-only operators outside the Americas. Learn more

SiGMA World

Best for: Breadth, volume of meetings, and emerging markets. SiGMA’s global flagship. High density of affiliates, startups, and operators from markets that do not show up elsewhere. Good for volume of conversations, less structured than SBC. Learn more

Affiliates and partners

Where distribution gets built.

The general expos have affiliates in attendance. These have nothing else, which is the point.

iGB Affiliate

Best for: Meeting affiliates at scale. The longest-running affiliate event in the industry, now co-located with ICE. If you are building or buying affiliate distribution, this is the highest concentration of counterparties in one place. Learn more

Affiliate World

Best for: Performance marketing beyond gambling. Draws media buyers and affiliates from across performance marketing, not only iGaming. Useful for finding traffic sources and creative approaches the gambling circuit has not saturated yet.

TES Affiliate Conference

Best for: Private, relationship-led affiliate dealmaking. Smaller and more closed than the big shows. Attended by people who already know each other, which makes it valuable once you are established and harder to break into cold.

SBC Affiliate Leaders Summit

Best for: Affiliate strategy at the senior level. Co-located with SBC Summit and aimed at heads of affiliates rather than account managers. Better for programme design conversations than for signing new partners. Learn more

Affiliate Grand Slam

Best for: Focused affiliate networking. A compact affiliate-only format. Fewer people, more actual meetings per day than the large expos.

AffPapa Conferences

Best for: Affiliate and operator matchmaking. A run of regional affiliate events. Smaller rooms, which works in your favour if you are new to a market and need introductions rather than crowds. Learn more

Asia Pacific

The region we work in.

If the Philippines or Southeast Asia is your market, these matter more than any European flagship.

SiGMA Asia

Best for: The Philippine and Southeast Asian market, in one place. Held in Manila and the most concentrated gathering of operators, suppliers, and affiliates working this region. If the Philippines is your market, this is the one to attend before any of the European shows. Learn more

G2E Asia

Best for: Asian land-based and integrated resort supply. The Asian edition of G2E, weighted toward casino equipment, integrated resorts, and the land-based supply chain. Relevant if your buyer is a property rather than a digital operator. Learn more

G2E Asia @ the Philippines

Best for: The Philippine land-based and integrated resort supply chain. A Manila edition of G2E Asia, smaller and specific to this market. Worth it if your buyer is a Philippine property or supplier rather than a digital operator. Learn more

ASEAN Gaming Summit

Best for: Regional regulation and market entry. Manila-based, produced by Asia Gaming Brief, and policy-heavy. Useful for understanding regulatory direction across Southeast Asian markets before committing to entry. Learn more

IAG events

Best for: Asian market intelligence and senior access. Inside Asian Gaming runs conferences and academy formats alongside its publication. Smaller audiences, senior attendees, and strong on the analyst view of the region.

Australasian Gaming Expo

Best for: Australian and New Zealand supply. Land-based weighted and focused on its own market. Worth it only if ANZ is a live target.

Japan Gaming Congress

Best for: Japanese market development. Narrow by design, tracking the slow development of Japan’s integrated resort framework. A watching brief rather than a commercial event for most.

The Americas

North and Latin America.

Brazil’s regulated market has made this the fastest-moving part of the circuit.

SBC Summit Rio

Best for: Brazil and the wider LATAM opportunity. SBC’s LATAM flagship, timed around Brazil’s regulated market. The densest concentration of operators and suppliers targeting the region. Learn more

SiGMA South America

Best for: LATAM affiliates and emerging operators. Broader and less formal than SBC’s LATAM events, with more affiliates and startups in the room. Learn more

GAT Expo

Best for: Colombian and Andean markets. A run of events across several LATAM countries. Regional and practical rather than global.

NEXT.io Summits

Best for: North American market entry and senior strategy. Smaller, senior-weighted summits. Structured for conversation rather than exhibition.

Europe

Beyond the anchors.

Europe runs the densest calendar in the world. These are the ones with a defined reason to exist.

iGB L!VE

Best for: Operator and supplier meetings in a working format. Less overwhelming than ICE and more oriented toward doing business than announcing things. A reasonable second European event if ICE is already in the plan. Learn more

SBC Summit Malta

Best for: Malta-based operators and the licensing ecosystem. Malta remains a licensing and operational hub, so the attendee list skews toward compliance, platform, and corporate services. Learn more

CasinoBeats Summit

Best for: Casino product and content. Weighted toward game studios, aggregators, and casino product rather than sportsbook or affiliates. Learn more

EGR Summit

Best for: Operator strategy and benchmarking. eGaming Review’s summit format, aimed at operator leadership. Editorial rather than commercial in tone.

Central Europe iGaming Summit

Best for: Central and Eastern European markets. Regional and compact. Useful if CEE is a target, unnecessary otherwise.

Emerging markets

Africa and Eurasia.

Smaller rooms, earlier markets, and less competition for attention.

SiGMA Africa

Best for: African market entry and payments. Africa’s growth story is mobile money and sports betting. This is the main gathering for operators and suppliers working that. Learn more

SBC Summit Africa

Best for: African sports betting. Narrower than SiGMA’s African event and more focused on sportsbook specifically. Learn more

SiGMA Eurasia

Best for: Emerging Eurasian and Middle Eastern markets. Covers markets that rarely feature on the European circuit. Useful for early-stage market entry work. Learn more

Getting value

Four things that decide whether a trip pays for itself.

01
Book meetings before you book flights

The people worth seeing have their calendars full weeks ahead. Turning up and walking the floor produces contacts rather than outcomes, and contacts are not what the budget was for.

02
Pick by market, not by prestige

The largest event in the world is worth less than the right event in the market you are selling into. A regional show with two thousand of the right people beats a global one with sixty thousand of the wrong ones.

03
Decide what you are there to leave with

Supplier shortlist, affiliate contracts, a regulatory read, or hires. Each of those points at a different event, and trying to do all four at one show usually achieves none.

04
Follow up within the week

Everyone you met is meeting the same volume of people. The value of a conversation decays fast, and most of the return on a conference is earned in the ten days after it.

Common questions

The iGaming circuit, answered.

Which iGaming conference should I attend first?

It depends on the market you sell into rather than the size of the show. For the Philippines and Southeast Asia, SiGMA Asia carries more relevant attendees than any European flagship. For supplier discovery, ICE or G2E. For affiliate distribution, iGB Affiliate or Affiliate World.

What is the biggest iGaming conference?

ICE is the largest by exhibitor count and attendance, followed by G2E for the North American market. Size is a poor guide to usefulness, since the largest shows are also the hardest ones to get meetings at.

Which iGaming events are best for finding affiliates?

iGB Affiliate and Affiliate World have the highest concentration of affiliates. TES Affiliate Conference, the SBC Affiliate Leaders Summit, Affiliate Grand Slam, and AffPapa’s regional events are smaller and more relationship-led.

Which iGaming events cover the Philippine market?

SiGMA Asia is held in Manila and is the most concentrated gathering for the Philippine and Southeast Asian market. The ASEAN Gaming Summit is also Manila-based and weighted toward regulation and market entry. Inside Asian Gaming runs conference formats with senior regional attendance.

Are iGaming conferences worth the cost?

Only with a defined objective and meetings booked in advance. Attending without a target list produces contacts rather than outcomes. The events that return the most are usually the smaller regional ones in the market you actually sell into.

Going to one of these?

There is a good chance we are in the room.

Between our own team and the partners we work with, someone we know is usually at these events. Across the circuit that means operators, platform and game suppliers, affiliate networks, payment providers, regulatory advisers, and industry bodies. Most of them are people we have worked with rather than met once.

01

Meet us there

Tell us which event you are attending. If one of our team or partners is going, we will put time in the diary before the week fills up. No pitch, and no deck.

02

Ask for an introduction

If you already know the company or person you want to meet, tell us. We will say honestly whether we can make the introduction. If we can, we will, and there is nothing attached to it. If we cannot, we will tell you that rather than waste your week.

03

Tell us what you are looking for

A platform provider for a specific market, an affiliate network with real reach in the Philippines or Southeast Asia, a payments partner who will take a gaming merchant, a regulatory adviser who answers quickly. Describe the gap and we will point you at who is worth your time.
