Century Entertainment's PH venture is structurally broken
What happened
PAGCOR has publicly confirmed that the local partner in Century Entertainment International Holdings' Philippine online gaming joint venture lost its accreditation in April 2026. Century Entertainment is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The venture was structured, as most foreign-participated Philippine online gaming operations are, around a credentialed local entity holding the regulatory relationship with PAGCOR. That local entity no longer holds valid accreditation. PAGCOR's public confirmation means this is on the record, not a rumor or a pending query.

Century's first public response came in late September, resting on a specific legal argument: that a different accredited content provider cures the gap.
