What happened

International Entertainment Corporation (IEC) is preparing to launch a self-run online gaming platform under the LaVie Resort & Casino Manila brand in the Philippines. The platform is framed internally as Phase Two of IEC's online gaming strategy. Phase One, launched earlier in 2026, was a partnership with DigiPlus Interactive Corp, the Philippines' leading online gaming operator. The new platform will offer remote gaming, online RNG casino games, and sports betting to domestic customers. Sports betting will be arranged through New Coast Leisure Inc (NCLI), IEC's subsidiary holding the group's online gaming licenses. Launch is targeted for mid-to-late November 2026.

A hotel-casino operator choosing to build and run its own platform rather than licensing a turnkey solution is a meaningful operational commitment: it implies direct exposure to technology, compliance, and player acquisition costs without a B2B vendor absorbing those risks.…Product · Philippines
  2. DigiPlus Built IEC's Online Platform Because It's About to Own IECDigiPlus is IEC's controlling shareholder in progress, not an arms-length partner, its ₱12 billion investment converts into a 53.89% stake, and the revenue split, 97% to DigiPlus's TGXI, 3% to IEC's license holder, confirms it. This follows our earlier LaVie coverage directly. Here's what the actual structure means for mid-tier operators watching from outside it.iGaming
  3. Maybank cuts DigiPlus forecasts on weak household spendMaybank Securities reducing DigiPlus earnings forecasts and tying any recovery to improved household spending in 2027 is a concrete analyst downgrade, not a sentiment wobble. Signal briefed Maybank's long-term constructive view yesterday, but today's cluster adds the specific mechanism: the brokerage is cutting numbers now because near-term player spend is under real pressure, and it does not expect the expansion investments to generate returns until conditions improve.…Market · Philippines
