Backed by DRS, independently operated

We work for operators. We also fund the site that holds them accountable.

HelpGamblers.ph is the Philippines’ first independent iGaming player advocacy portal. Operator accountability scores, player complaints, and PAGCOR license verification.

Why it exists

The obvious objection to this page is worth stating before anyone else does.

An agency whose clients are licensed operators also funds a site that scores those operators and publishes player complaints against them. That looks like a conflict, and handled badly it would be one.

A market where players have no recourse, no way to verify a license, and nowhere to file a complaint is a market that eventually gets regulated harder, trusted less, and grows slower. That is bad for players first and operators second, including the operators who pay us.

Its editorial operation is independent of our commercial relationships, which is the only arrangement under which it is worth anything at all. We are aware that is easier to claim than to prove, and the proof is behavioral. The test is whether a DRS client ever receives favorable treatment there.

What it does

The components

01
Operator accountability scores

Published scoring covering how operators handle player disputes, payouts, and terms, applied consistently across the market rather than selectively.

02
Player complaint handling

A route for players to file complaints and have them tracked publicly, which is what gives an accountability score meaning rather than making it an opinion.

03
PAGCOR license verification

Verification of whether an operator is actually licensed, which sounds basic and is the single most useful thing a player can check before depositing.

04
Player-first reviews

Reviews written for the person depositing money rather than the operator hoping to be listed. This is the substantive difference from most affiliate review sites.

05
Responsible gaming resources

Information and pathways for players who need them, kept prominent rather than buried in a footer link.

Who it is for

Where it fits

Players

Anyone depositing with an operator in the Philippines who wants to verify a license, check how a brand handles disputes, or file a complaint that will be tracked.

Operators

A functioning accountability layer signals a maturing market. Operators who handle players well have an interest in that being visible and verifiable.

On the conflict

Both things are true, and we think they have to be.

Responsible gaming is not a compliance checkbox for us. It is not a paragraph in a footer or a logo in a partner strip. It is a site we pay for that exists to hold operators, including operators who are clients, to a standard they do not get to set.

An agency that only ever advocates for the buy side of this industry is participating in a market it is not helping to sustain.
